Water, Water, and a Cat

So.  Amazing day today!  Woke up and went to work just as any other normal day.  Saw a few cute kids and the funny things they do.  Well there's this little 4 year old boy in Kelson's class named Dax Lurcher.  Awesome little boy!  Did backflips off the high dive and tried a cartwheel but bellyflopped pretty hard.  After that happened, his dad came in and we told him everything that had gone down.  Then his dad asked him "Dude, where did you put the cat after you were playing with it?"  Dax sat there and didn't say anything.  "Dude, you put it in the cooler in the garage!"  Bailey and I almost fell off the bench!  He then turns to Bailey and asks her, "Do you want a cooler?  Because I'll give it to ya!"  I laughed so hard and Bailey just said, "Uh, no."  Dax's dad then goes on to say, "I walked into the garage this morning and said, 'What the _____ is that smell?!'  Ugh!  It was horrible!"  We both continued laughing and he just stand there shaking his head.  "Well I guess you can't play with the cat anymore," he says, "now it's dead and smells bad and has flies all over it."  At that point I almost lost it for good!  Apparently what had happened was Dax and a friend had decided to put the cat in the cooler, but they forgot it was there, so it died and stayed there until his dad found it this morning.  Bailey was pretty good at holding in her laughing, but my sides hurt after that story!  It was fabulous!!

Now for what happened next.  Kara went to go and turn on the slide for her kids and jumped for it, but as soon as she pulled the lever, the pipe snapped!  Water went flying everywhere!  "Turn it off, turn it off!"  I yelled.  She jumped one last time and got it shut off.  More laughing occured from us 3 girls.  A little later, Bailey was texting Mr. Topham.  Last night, he and a couple other grown ups went down the slide.  Well, guess we know how the slide broke.  Haha!  After that, work was pretty calm.

The middle of the day consisted of watching litle league baseball and going out to the rez.  I was glad that Jackie, Traci, Sarah, Ju, and Kunz could join me.  It was great fun!

So!  Now it's time for work again.  Krystal was my trainee and Meagan was Jessica's, Kara also was sitting around chillin' with us.  Shift started and Krystal went to go and turn on the slide.  I yelled, "No, no, no!  Don't turn it on!  It's broke!  I'm serious, it's broke, for real!"  Kara chimes in and says, "Yeah she's right, it broke today."  So she stares at us as the both of us are trying to coax her out of it.  Then she turns it on anyway!  Water goes shootin' everywhere and I booked it across the deck as fast as I dared!  "I told you it was broke!  I wasn't kiddin'!  I was serious about it bein' broke!"  She's standing next to the slide just laughing at me.  Jumping and laughing my guts out, I finally get it turned off.  Kara, Amie, Meagan, and Krystal are laughing like crazy as I shake like a dog and try to dry myself out.  Yeah, just got out of the shower, and now I'm covered in chlorine.  So work goes on, I'm training Krystal and showing her what to do, then Rick and his family come in.  He walked out of the locker room as I was spraying the deck and I tell Krystal, "now make sure you get all the bubbles on the floor, and also you gotta make sure to do this!"  I turn towards Rick, hose in hand, and let him have it!  He yells, "Cold!  So cold!"  and races into the pool.  His family is cheering me on and I just laugh and continue to spray the deck.  Well, it came back to bite me.  It's ten minutes to eight and I decide to climb on the high dive and watch Rick toss around a polo ball.  Just sitting there all innocent and he swims towards the ladder.  I didn't think anything of it until he was out of the pool.  "No! No, no, no, no, no, no!!"  I jump up and run to the ladder to climb down.  Too late!  He's already climbing up gunnin' for me.  Slowly backing up, I try to think of ways to convince him to let me down.  Again, too late!  Kara grabs the hose and sprays me like there's no tomorrow! Well, only one thing left to do.  Run for the water!  Splash!!  So now I'm wet.  Again!!!  I do admit though, it did help for what happened next.  Initiation for the newbies!!  Jessica told Meagan to turn off the hose, but instead I got her
good!  Then, she's thrown into the pool.  Krystal is then grabbed, sprayed, and thrown in as well.  Oh yeah.

Well that's my stories for today.  Pretty sweet huh?  Definately a successful day!  Latas!!

Better Start Now.....

Well I guess I had better start a blog.  Senior year is this year and there should be a lot to post and update people on.  Plus, Facebook just isn't enough anymore.  A lot of pictures and stories need to be told, old adn new.  So, I know this is a short start, but it's a start!
